Albina Yanovska
My life's journey began in the small town of Boryspil, located in the Kyiv region of Ukraine, nestled under the wings of the country's largest airport. It was here, amidst the sounds of airplanes and dreams, that I discovered my calling.
My desire to tell stories through the lens of a camera led me to the Kyiv University of Culture, where I pursued a degree in film and television directing. My educational and professional background paved the way for me to successfully undertake an internship and unleash my creative potential at A&T Production.
However, as is often the case in great stories, even the grandest dreams can encounter challenging trials. Due to the war in Ukraine, my life took an unexpected turn. Leaving my homeland was not easy, but my arrival in Hanover became a crucial step that allowed me to find a second home and explore new opportunities for personal growth. During my time in Germany, I managed to master the German language and completed a three-month internship at Webfilmlad. This experience was truly remarkable, as I worked as a film editor on "A Million Yard Stare," enhancing my knowledge and editing skills.
My goal is to create cinematic works that transcend borders and unite diverse cultures. I am always open to collaboration with colleagues from various European countries because I believe that together we can craft the most captivating stories that will change the world of cinema and forever resonate in the hearts of the audience.

The light within

The film "The Light Within" tells the story of Polina, a hairdresser from Ukraine, who decides to help Ukrainian refugees who ended up in Germany due to the Russian-Ukrainian war. Her hair salon becomes a meeting place for mutual support, where destinies intertwine, and hope never fades away.
GRADUATION FILM
On the fourth academic year, the assignment for the main discipline "Film and Television Directing" was to create a graduation film of any type and genre. This final video work was the basis for the state exam defense.
The completion of this final task allowed me to demonstrate the knowledge and skills in the field of filmmaking that I had acquired over 4 years of study. Creating the graduation film was a complex task, including script development, organizing the filming process, editing, and post-production.
Defending the graduation work at the state exam was a serious task, and at the same time, an opportunity to present my creative vision and professional achievements to the examination committee. This work became an important stage in the completion of my education.

Short Synopsis: The film unveils the world of creativity of the renowned Ukrainian sculptor, the author of the "Monument of Independence." The artist recounts how he first took clay in his hands and how it transformed his life. The film showcases the aesthetics and beauty of his works and reveals the depth of their meaning.
PR CAMPAIGNS
Effective PR campaigns aimed at promoting the study of the German language among migrants can play a key role in their successful integration and adaptation in Germany. One prominent example of such an approach is a poster developed for the educational institution Bildungswerk der Niedersachsen Wirtschaft (BNW).
The poster is presented in a comic book format and tells the story of various ethnic groups, symbolically depicted through their national dishes. These characters initially appear sad and depressed, as they do not speak German, which makes their daily life and interaction with the local community difficult.
However, the poster conveys an optimistic message that Germany is ready to support migrants in learning the German language by providing them with the necessary resources and conditions. Thus, the PR campaign, based on vivid dialogues, can inspire migrants to acquire language skills, which will become the key to their success and full integration into German society.
